• ORCID — recommended for researchers. ORCID gives you a stable identifier that travels with you across journals and venues.
• Google — quick. No institutional account required; an independent researcher gets the same surface as anyone else.
• Bluesky — native AT-proto identity. Your did:plc and your existing handle come along.
